A Front Page for TimeSplash

Did you know, the pictures which appear in the banner on this blog are all ones I found during my research for TimeSplash? They each relate to a different scene in the book too. They change at random each time a page is loaded. So, to see all seven of them, you will need to keep refreshing the page I’m afraid.

I now have a barebones cover page up for the TimeSplash site – no artwork available yet so it’s not very exciting. All it has is a teaser for the book and a link to this blog. (In the right-hand column of this blog, you’ll find the “Back to the Main Site” heading with the link underneath if you’re curious.) I’d be interested in hearing what you think of the teaser.

  • Oh nice teaser! Sounds like an action packed book, and I love the concept.

I got the train station in the header on this visit.

    Glad you like the teaser.

That’s Cannon St Station, London in 1910.

Nice one! This is the first time I’ve heard much about the storyline for Timesplash, sounds just like my kind of book :-)

I got the railway station too!

Janette, it just shows that Cannon St station hasn’t changed much in a hundred years! (Apart from the hideous Poulson office block and then its replacemnent with something less scandalous.) One of the great benefits of setting scenes in 1902 is that most of the places my characters visited aren’t very different from the places I remember from a decade or two ago.
